Listen To "Imperium Wolves", A NEW Song By JOB FOR A COWBOY!

Today Guitarworld.com hosts an exclusive premiere of “Imperium Wolves,” from technical Death doers, JOB FOR A COWBOY. “Imperium Wolves,” comes off the band’s forthcoming studio offering, 'Demonocracy'. Soaked in equal parts misanthropy and naked rage, the nine-track recording tackles a host of political and economic themes including media propaganda, the “war industry” and the staggering debts faced by America. Produced by Jason Suecof (Black Dahlia Murder, Whitechapel, Trivium) at Audiohammer Studios, and featuring another intricate and thought-provoking cover design by artist Brent Elliott White, 'Demonocracy' is scheduled for North American release on April 10, 2012 through Metal Blade Records.

THE AGONIST Reveals NEW Album Title & Release Date; Band Eager To Get On The Road With KITTIE!

After spending many months in the studio, melodic Death Metallers THE AGONIST have finally finished their long-awaited third studio album, 'Prisoners'. Produced by Christian Donaldson (CRYPTOPSY) and mixed by Tue Madsen (THE HAUNTED, DARK TRANQUILLITY, SUICIDE SILENCE), 'Prisoners' is set to be released via Century Media Records on June 4th in Europe and June 5th in North America, and it picks right up where 2009's 'Lullabies for the Dormant Mind' left off, with soaring melodies over complex Metal passages that fans of thinking-man's Metal can appreciate. In regards to this upcoming album, the band comments: "Creating 'Prisoners' was the most challenging under-taking to date for THE AGONIST. GHOUL Release HILARIOUS Blood-Splattered Update From The Road!

Splatterthrash crossover kings GHOUL are currently on tour with GWAR, MUNICIPAL WASTE, and LEGACY OF DISORDER, merrily massacring their way across the continental United States and having a devil of a time shredding through classic cuts as well as newer material from 2011's critically acclaimed and viciously fun 'Transmission Zero' (now available on CD/LP/digitally from Tankcrimes).

Cremator has supplied us with the following update, assuring us that he and his fellow numbskulls are alive and well. The rest of the crew... well, you'll see.

"We thought Creepsylania was a dump, but now we are homesick… this backwards country we are touring, called by locals, "'Merica," is horrible! Granted, we like violence, but never has GHOUL witnessed citizenry that is so bent on hurting and destroying each other.

"While these "moshing pits" of yours are eminently hilarious to view from the stage, it leaves us a little sad that we have so few people left to kill ourselves at the end of the show. I guess we shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth, as the littered corpses have kept us well fed for long drives.

"From the beast coast to the midwest, we've had a very hard go of it. Every night the Creepsylvanian authorities show up and try to shut down our show before we even begin. Just when we think we've gotten rid of them and are pummeling the audience to submission, their bastard creation Killbot shows up and beats the shit out of Cremator. Luckily, we brought the best roadie in the world, Kogar the Destructor. He is the whole road crew all in one and manages to beat the mechanical moron back without fail… so far.

"Thrashing out excellently next to us has been the band of original party dudes, MUNICIPAL WASTE. What a burden, though! They keep drinking all the rot gut and numbskull that Fermentor makes before we are even off the stage. How is a Ghoul to get drunk? Your 'Merican beer may have made Bud wiser, but it just makes us vomit. Another day fucked up by the Waste and waking up with the gutbucket blues.

"The lads from New Zealand, Legacy of Disorder, are rocking it just as hard and representing the Shire well. Digestor is repeatedly disappointed, however, to find our deli tray emptied by them. The LOD members eat first breakfast, second breakfast, elevenses, luncheon, tea, dinner, AND supper. I wonder if anyone has told them our deli tray is full of human viscera?

"The lords and masters of this tour, GWAR, seem to act like our friends. We're not so sure. Many a night we've heard tale of groupies waiting for us and then Dissector finds a pile of dead chicks, assholes ripped apart, smelling of cuttlefish. We have our suspicions.

"Still, we Ghouls persevere along with our comrades on the tour, Mr. Fang and Baron Samedi. We cram in our bloodied van night after night, Kogar on top, and get ready to hit the next town. The slavering sycophantic crowds have been welcoming to our splatterthrash. We're looking forward to more nights of haunting your nightmares and emptying your cemeteries. We are the things that go bump in the night… and bleed your ear drums with rock 'n' roll."

Lemmy Kilmister To The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: "Where The F&*K Is My ‘Ace of Spades’ Jacket"?

In a recent interview with Artisan News, Motörhead's frontman  Lemmy Kilmister responded with anger when asked about the loss of his 'Ace Of Spades' jacket. “They lost my ‘Ace of Spades’ tour jacket. They had this Heavy Metal presentation thing and they said could they borrow a pair of boots and a bass and my ‘Ace Of Spades’ tour jacket, so I lent it to them, and they said they lost it. A likely story. Look me in the eye and tell me again. One of their girlfriends is wearing it, no doubt.”

Lemmy is still fuming over the loss. When asked if he would feel better about things if he was inducted into the Hall, he said, “What honor? They owe me a jacket before I’ll even speak to them.”

GENE HOGLAN To Step In For BILL WARD On BLACK SABBATH's Reunion Shows???

We just got word from Ian Christie (Sirius XM LIQUID METAL), that drumming legend GENE HOGLAN will be stepping in for BILL WARD on the upcoming SABBATH reunion shows. We really hope that Ian is not pulling all of our legs as an April Fool's joke. As previously reported, Bill Ward announced that he won't be part of the current reincarnation of BLACK SABBATH. This is his statement regarding this matter:

"At this time, I would love nothing more than to be able to proceed with the BLACK SABBATH album and tour," stated Ward. "However, I am unable to continue unless a 'signable' contract is drawn up; a contract that reflects some dignity and respect toward me as an original member of the band." The remaining members of Black Sabbath (Ozzy, Osbourne, Tony Iommy & Geezer Butler) have have been recording the NEW album without Bill Ward.

BLACK SABBATH:

- Jun. 10: Donnington, UK @ Download Festival
- PLUS 1 show in the United States! (Details have not been announced yet)
