PARADISE LOST To Appear On The Cover Of DECIBEL MAGAZINE; NEW Album 'Tragic Idol' Available For Stream!

PARADISE LOST's Decibel Flexi-disc Stream Available; Greg Mackintosh Shares His Retro Playlist!

 

As previously announced, Gothic Metallers PARADISE LOST have teamed up with Decibel Magazine to give fans a gold-on-black flexi disc for the previously unreleased b-side "The Last Fallen Saviour"! This track will only be available exclusively to Decibel subscribers in the magazine's June issue (out in May), and it comes from the recording sessions of 'Tragic Idol', the band's forthcoming studio album that is set to be released through Century Media Records on April 24th in North America and April 23rd in Europe. In anticipation of Tragic Idol 's release, lead guitarist Gregor Mackintosh has shared a retrospective playlist composed of tracks from albums that relate to PARADISE LOST's discography. As a band that is constantly evolving and at the forefront of the gothic/doom metal scene, PARADISE LOST has always experimented with various musical styles since their inception almost 25 years ago. To give fans a better understanding of where the band was at (musically) during each of the albums' eras, Greg chose one non-PL album that correlates to each PARADISE LOST release and explained its role in the band's career. PARADISE LOST Premiere Music Video For “Honesty In Death”!

Gothic metallers PARADISE LOST are well known for their intense videos from their two previous albums. "The Enemy" from the 2007 album 'In Requiem' was shot on the Crimea peninsula and caused some problems with TV companies due to the execution scenes. The video for the title track of 'Faith Divides Us, Death Unites Us' from 2009 was even more disturbing with its scenes of physical and emotional abuse. The brand NEW "Honesty In Death" video from the band's upcoming album, 'Tragic Idol', keeps this tradition. Watch the NEW video below.

Greg Mackintosh (guitar) comments: "We are very excited about the premiere of our 'Honesty In Death' video. In my opinion it is the best video we have ever done. Matt Green, who I had previously worked with on the VALLENFYRE 'Cathedrals of Dread' video, directed it. He did such a great job with VALLENFYRE that we knew he would be able to do something really special for PARADISE LOST. The result is a very powerful, but very grim short film with brief cameos by the band, that is sure to resonate with people who see it."

PARADISE LOST Premieres Making-of “Honesty In Death” Video

PARADISE LOST's upcoming album, 'Tragic Idol', is scheduled for a worldwide release through Century Media Records on April 23rd in Europe and April 24th in North America! In anticipation of this release, the band just filmed a video for "Honesty In Death" in the UK with director Matt Green (who also did the "Cathedrals Of Dread" video for Greg Mackintosh's Death Metal band VALLENFYRE).
